Restuarant Style Baby Corn Fry:
One of the yummiest & crunchiest starter recipe.Vegetarian people will love it.Marinated the baby corn with simple spice powders and deep fried it. Finally tossed deep fried baby corn with few ingredients.Do try this recipe and let me know your feedback.
Ingredients:

1 cup=250 ml
To Marinate:
- 12 Peeled & slitted Baby Corns
- 3 cups water(to parbail baby corn)
- 1/4 cup gram flour
- 1/4 cup rice flour
- 1/2 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 tbsp kashmiri chilli powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- few drops of water
- Oil to deep fry
For Baby Corn Fry:
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp finely chopped ginger
- 1 tbsp finely chopped garlic
- 1 finely sliced medium size onion
- 1 sprig curry leaves
- 2 slitted green chillies
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp soya sauce
- Fried baby corn
- 1 tsp crushed pepper
Method:
- Parboil the baby corns by adding water for 8 mins in a high flame.Drain the water and keep aside.
- Then add all the ingredients mentioned under 'To marinate' except 3 cups water. Dont add more water while marinating, ingredients should be well coated with baby corns.
- Heat oil in a pan,add the marinated baby corns. Dont disturb it for 3 mins,deep fry it for another 5 mins. Until it turns crispy in texture.Keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan,add in the ginger and garlic.Saute it for 2 mins.
- Then add in the onions,green chillies, curry leaves and salt.Saute it,ungtil onions turns light brown colour(appx for 5 mins in a medium flame).
- Then add in soya sauce,saute it until moisture of the sauce gets absorbed.
- Finally add the fried baby corns,pepper powder and saute it for 3 mins.
- Garnish with spring onions or coriander leaves. Switch off the stove and serve hot.
Note:
Adjust salt and spice level according to your taste.
